Prof. Alexander Puzrin, DSc, Expert

Prof. Puzrin holds a Chair of Geotechnical Engineering at the ETH Zurich, Switzerland. He is engaged in the analysis of progressive and catastrophic failure in soils, with applications to onshore and offshore slope stability and geo-eco-hazard assessment and mitigation. His expertise includes applications of novel sensor technologies to geotechnical monitoring and development of innovative chemical soil improvement techniques. Professor Puzrin has been involved as an expert and consultant in large-scale onshore and offshore geotechnical projects in the UK, the US, Switzerland, Mexico, Azerbaijan, Russia, and Israel.

Prof. Ioannis Anastasopoulos, PhD, Advisor

Prof. Anastasopoulos holds a Chair of Geotechnical Engineering at the ETH Zurich, Switzerland. He specializes in geotechnical earthquake engineering and soil–structure interaction. His expertise includes the development of innovative seismic hazard mitigation techniques, faulting and its effects on infrastructure, site effects and slope stabilization, railway systems and vehicle–track interaction, seismic response of monuments, offshore geotechnics, and earthquake crisis management systems. He has been involved as a consultant in a variety of projects of significance in Europe, the US and the Middle East.

Prof. Mark Randolph, PhD, Advisor

Prof. Randolph holds a Chair in Civil Engineering at the University of Western Australia. His is an expert in offshore developments in deep water, especially soil characterization, submarine slope stability and the estimation of limiting loads for foundation, pipeline and anchoring systems. He interacts closely with the offshore industry, both in research and through his role as Technical Authority within Fugro AG. He served on the API Geotechnical Resources Group for 25 years, developing offshore design guidelines. He is a Fellow of several learned academies and an Honorary Doctor of the ETH Zurich.   

Mrs. Olga Puzrin, lic. iur., Managing Director

Mrs. Puzrin has a degree in law, with experience in finance and administration in Russian Federation and Switzerland.
